Pro-Sound

I had a chance to meet up with industry legend Rich Topham of Pro-Sound at NAB this year. Rumor has it that Rich sold Randy Thom his first sound package. That pretty much puts Rich in the “been around the block long enough to know what he’s talking about” category! Rich is a great guy who takes care of his customers – which is a big deal in the film/tv biz (let’s face it, you can’t just run to Target and replace gear). Rich puts his customers first, which means he knows that when you’re on a shoot, you need your gear fast. He’s even been known to give out his personal cell phone number to customers so that they can call him in a jam. No outsourcing customer service to overseas call centers with Rich!
