 Well gang, it is time for me to mosey along; today is the last day of my internship.  First I would just like to thank Ric and everyone at the Chop Shop for a great 7 months. I have learned so much and have experienced everything from catching and losing crickets in the Foley room, to hearing Ric say “one more time” a thousand times. I also was constantly scared of what lurked around every corner (Ric likes to hide and scare people). And of course, I discovered the wonderful product of YogaToes - which I’m proud to say Ric owns (I got him one for Christmas).  I was also lucky enough to extend my internship for one month so that I could accompany Ric to LA and help with a new video series for RØDE Microphones.  It was a great trip and I met several of my sound heroes. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, because it is going to be really cool. I now must say goodbye to Detroit and plan on moving to California in the next few months to pursue a career in motion pictures. Again, thanks so much to Ric and everyone at the Chop Shop for a wonderful experience.  Happy recoding to all of you SFX Bible Fans! Signing off,  Jon the Intern
